About The Position

The Nursing Schedule Coordinator is a key team member that is responsible for the overall assurances of appropriate staffing levels are met at all times. This role requires a CNA or QMA and involves creating staffing schedules to ensure quality nursing care, collaborating with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing, and maintaining compliance with budgetary, State, and Federal guidelines. The position emphasizes teamwork, interpersonal communication, and fostering a comforting atmosphere for residents and staff.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a state approved training program in medication administration.
  • Indiana CNA or QMA license.
  • Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels are met at all times.
  • Create staffing schedules that ensure the provision of quality nursing care.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to advise and communicate staffing schedules and needs.
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate budgetary, State, and Federal guidelines.
  • Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents.
  • Ensure quick, equitable, and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions through collaboration with team members.
