About The Position

The Nursing Schedule Coordinator is a key team member responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels are met at all times. This role requires a CNA or QMA and focuses on creating a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents and team members, while ensuring the provision of quality nursing care through organized scheduling. The coordinator collaborates with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to communicate staffing schedules and needs, ensuring compliance with budgetary, State, and Federal guidelines. A strong sense of teamwork and interpersonal communication is essential for creating equitable and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a state approved training program in medication administration.
  • Indiana CNA or QMA license.
  • Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall assurances of appropriate staffing levels are met at all times.
  • Create staffing schedules that ensures the provision of quality nursing care.
  • Coordinates with the Executive Director and the Director of Nursing to advise and communicate staffing schedules and needs and ensure compliance with appropriate budgetary, State and Federal guidelines.
  • Work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents.
  • Ensure quick, equitable and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions through strong understanding and collaboration with team members.
