About The Position
As a CNA/Driver/Central Supply, you will have the unique opportunity to positively impact our residents every day.
Requirements
- 6 months of work experience
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a safe driving record
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other associates in English
- CNA certified in Texas
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation services to residents, ensuring timely arrival to scheduled appointments
- Operate and maintain the community vehicle in a safe and clean manner
- Drive the community vehicle on resident day trips and outings
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management
- Inspecting the company vehicle before and after trips.
- Perform light office, answering incoming calls or in person inquiries to setup Resident's travel.
- May assist Activity Director with activities for Residents
- Inventory Management: Order, receive, and stock medical supplies, ensuring all departments have adequate levels.
- Sterilization & Decontamination: Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and reusable medical devices using autoclaves and sonic washers.
- Equipment Distribution: Assemble and dispense medical equipment (e.g., crash carts, IV poles) and ensure items are in proper working condition.
- Quality Control: Inspect supplies for expiration dates, perform sterilizer testing, and adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols.
- Documentation: Track usage patterns, maintain accurate digital/physical inventory records, and generate supply-cost reports.
