Shift 7a to 3:30p M-F Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 POSITION PURPOSE: Provide nursing and ancillary departments with the necessary equipment and supplies to accommodate patient care needs.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience with inventory control and knowledge of hospital supplies preferred.
Previous health care experience in a medical center setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Establish par levels per supply/demand basis and order supplies based on these par levels.
Restocks carts and/or supply areas.
Cleans carts and/or supply areas.
Examines inventory for outdated supplies.
Utilizes computerized system as needed to document patient charges and order inventory floor stock.
Provides on call services to ensure departments have necessary supplies.
Stamps inventoried items with charge stickers whenever necessary.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
