About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a compassionate and dependable RN or LPN to provide nursing care at its 100-bed residential detox and inpatient rehabilitation facility in Prince Frederick, Maryland. Nurses support clients throughout admission, treatment, and discharge in a safe, supportive, and structured medical environment. Applicants with experience in behavioral health, detox, med-surg, corrections, or long-term care are welcome, as are those seeking more meaningful patient care.

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN licensure to practice in the state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and efficient, with the ability to multitask.
• Compassionate, dignified character that models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in behavioral health, detox, med-surg, corrections, or long-term care is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care to each client throughout admission, treatment, and discharge.
• Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and maintain clear medication logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and utilization review teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation, tracking, and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.
