About The Position

Universal Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in providing patient care at post-acute care facilities within the community. The Advanced Practice Provider manages and coordinates care for an assigned patient population. Universal Health provides comprehensive training, shadowing experiences, oversight by a Medical Director, and resources to support providers in meeting patients’ diverse needs. The position offers flexible start and stop times, with a Monday–Friday schedule and an on-call supplemental schedule.

Nursing experience in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, ICU, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, or General Practice preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver appropriate patient care.
Communicate with nursing staff, collaborating physicians, and the Director of Nursing regarding patient care.
Conduct patient rounds, contribute to daily care decisions, write orders, and facilitate scheduling of therapeutic and diagnostic tests and procedures.
Record daily visit notes promptly in an electronic medical record; dictation services are available.
Maintain accurate professional-services records, including billing reports, claims, and correspondence.
Provide services as requested by Universal Health or as required by the bylaws, policies, rules, or regulations of Universal Health or affiliated healthcare facilities.
