About The Position

We are seeking a licensed Primary Care Nurse Practitioner for an immediate contract opening at an outpatient clinical practice in Seattle, Washington. The role provides primary care services to an established patient panel through at least November 15, 2026, with the possibility of extension or conversion based on clinical needs. This is a full-time contract position, available as 1099 or W-2.

Requirements

Master’s or doctoral degree in nursing (MSN/DNP) from an accredited program.
Active, unrestricted Washington State APRN or Nurse Practitioner license.
Board certification through AANP or ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP).
Current BLS or ACLS certification.
Ability to start immediately and commit through November 15, 2026.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of outpatient primary care or urgent care experience; strong new graduates with relevant RN or clinical backgrounds will also be considered.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and routine wellness visits for adult and pediatric patients.
Manage acute and chronic diseases in adult and pediatric populations.
Develop evidence-based diagnostic and treatment plans.
Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing.
Prescribe medications in accordance with state prescriptive authority.
Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, asthma, and hyperlipidemia.
Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record in compliance with clinic standards.
Collaborate with clinic physicians, nursing staff, and medical assistants to coordinate patient care and referrals.
