About The Position

CoreLife, in partnership with MedStar Health, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner for its White Marsh, Maryland clinic. The role focuses on obesity medicine and related chronic conditions, using an integrated care model that combines medical care, nutrition counseling, behavioral health support, and exercise programming. The Nurse Practitioner guides a multidisciplinary care team and provides comprehensive, patient-centered care aimed at sustainable health outcomes. The position follows a four-day work week with 10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday.

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license from the Maryland Board.
• Board certification as an FNP, AGNP, or related Nurse Practitioner.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong interest in lifestyle medicine and multidisciplinary care.
• Excellent communication and patient engagement skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in primary care, obesity medicine, endocrinology, or chronic disease management; these areas are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage obesity and related chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including a registered dietitian, trainer, and behavioral health professionals.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment progress.
• Educate patients on lifestyle, nutrition, and behavior change.
• Ensure documentation meets clinical and coding standards.
• Support patient engagement, retention, and outcomes.
• Meet productivity and quality benchmarks aligned with CoreLife and MedStar standards.
