Nurse Practitioner, NP - Primary Care
About The Position
Main Line Health is hiring a Nurse Practitioner for its Primary Care Practice in Media, Pennsylvania. The Nurse Practitioner assesses, diagnoses, treats, and manages patients in collaboration with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team. The role serves as a patient advocate, builds strong patient relationships, and supports seamless, coordinated care across the continuum. It also contributes to quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives to improve patient outcomes and the care experience. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with eight-hour day shifts, one evening per week, and a rotating on-call requirement. Weekends and holidays are not required.
Requirements
- Two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association is required before the start date.
Nice To Haves
- Primary care practice or outpatient experience.
- A minimum of two years of nursing experience in the specific clinical area.
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association upon hire.
