CVS Health•Aurora, OH
•$42 - $90•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health’s MinuteClinic is hiring a Nurse Practitioner for a clinic-based primary care role. The position delivers high-quality, evidence-based care in person, with virtual visits conducted from the clinic when onsite patient volume is lower and virtual care does not delay or interfere with in-person care. Providers practice with clinical and organizational support, collaborative resources, evidence-based guidelines, and access to assessment and treatment-planning tools. The role offers flexible scheduling, professional development opportunities, and completion of charting and follow-up during scheduled shifts. The Nurse Practitioner provides primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. The role also includes diagnostic testing, preventive counseling, injury and illness treatment, care coordination, wellness services, chronic disease management, and preventive screenings. Clinic operations include inventory management, opening and closing the clinic, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection. The provider helps maintain a safe, efficient care environment through routine examinations and timely appointment management. The position requires an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner master’s degree, current national board certification, and an active, unrestricted state APRN/FNP license. Candidates must hold active BLS certification, be able to pass a respirator fit test, complete a DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment, and be physically present at the assigned clinic. One year of NP experience is preferred, though qualified new graduates may be considered. The role may require bilingual proficiency depending on market needs and multi-state licensure based on business needs. Physical duties include prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching, as well as the ability to perform Basic Life Support.
