About The Position

MinuteClinic, a CVS Health company, is hiring a Nurse Practitioner for a clinic-based primary care role. The position focuses on delivering high-quality, affordable, accessible in-person care, with virtual visits conducted from the clinic when patient volume allows and doing so does not delay or interfere with in-person care. Providers have autonomy to manage their practice, supported by clinical and organizational resources, evidence-based guidelines, and a collaborative care team. The Nurse Practitioner provides evidence-based primary and family care, assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic conditions. The role also includes diagnostic testing, preventive counseling, injury and illness treatment, care coordination, wellness services, chronic disease management, and preventive screenings. Clinic operations include inventory management, opening and closing the clinic, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and appointment management. Charting and follow-up are completed during the scheduled shift. This is a full-time position with 40 anticipated weekly hours. The typical pay range is $41.85–$90.13 per hour. The position is also eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program. Requirements

Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
Current national board certification through AANP or ANCC.
Active, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
Obtain and maintain multistate licensure based on business needs.
Ability to provide holistic, evidence-based care, including counseling related to pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices.
Ability to order and administer vaccines and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, TB testing, and Depo-Provera.
Complete a DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
Physical presence at the assigned clinic is required.
Ability to perform duties involving prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
Ability to perform Basic Life Support.

Nice To Haves

One year of Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred; qualified new graduates may be considered.
Experience with the EPIC electronic health record.
Prior MinuteClinic precepting rotation, particularly for candidates with less than one year of provider experience; preferred but not required.
Experience conducting patient assessments and exercising sound clinical decision-making in a virtual care environment.
Familiarity with digital health tools and virtual communication technologies.
Bilingual proficiency may be required depending on market needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Provide in-person and virtual visits from the clinic, based on patient volume and without interfering with in-person care.
Perform diagnostic testing and preventive counseling; treat injuries and illnesses; and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
Engage patients in wellness services, chronic disease management, and preventive health screenings.
Complete clinic operations, including inventory management, clinic opening and closing, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection.
Support a safe, efficient care environment through routine examinations and timely patient appointment management.
Complete charting and follow-up during the scheduled shift.
