About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner treats and evaluates patients and administers advanced nursing care in a particular clinical specialty area. The role performs a wide variety of patient care activities, including diagnosis and prescription of medical therapeutics in collaboration with and under the direction of a licensed physician. The Nurse Practitioner contributes to a safe and therapeutic environment centered on the needs of patients, caregivers, and others, demonstrating concern for patients’ privacy, comfort, and emotional state. Care is delivered in a caring, ethical, and professional manner, with consideration for each patient’s age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• Pennsylvania Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner credential.
• Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience as a nurse practitioner.
• One year of experience in a clinical specialty practice.
• One year of outpatient/ambulatory experience.
• General experience in an EPIC environment.
• Prescriptive Authority.
