Nurse Practitioner, PD, Geriatric Assessment Center - Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center
About The Position
Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner to join the Geriatric Assessment Center in Morris County, New Jersey. The role is part of a cohesive, growing practice with a large patient census and focuses on delivering high-quality care to seniors. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule and flexible work/life balance; candidates must be available at least two days per week. The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary care, evaluates and manages acute and chronic conditions, performs physical examinations, prescribes medications, and orders and interprets diagnostic tests. The ideal candidate can work independently and collaboratively with physicians and other advanced practice clinicians.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active license in the State of New Jersey.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Nice To Haves
- At least two years of Nurse Practitioner experience in skilled nursing homes or with geriatric patients; this experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services.
- Evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions.

- Collaborate with physicians and fellow advanced practice clinicians to deliver high-quality care to seniors.
