About The Position
Southwestern PCA Medical Practice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care. The role provides holistic, patient-centered care by assessing and diagnosing patients and offering treatment options aligned with their lifestyles and wellness goals. The Nurse Practitioner conducts in-office visits, develops individualized care plans with physicians and care teams, and prescribes medications and treatments to support symptom control and comfort. The practice emphasizes mentorship, ongoing education, collaboration, and a culture that encourages innovation and intelligent risk-taking.
Requirements
- Master’s degree and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current state licensure and CPR certification.
- At least 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience and 1 year of primary care experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and clinical skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-office primary care visits, physical assessments, and face-to-face evaluations.
- Develop and manage individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and care teams.
- Prescribe medications and treatments, ensuring symptom control and comfort.
