About The Position
This is a per diem role for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct disability evaluations for veterans. Veterans will come to your own office for these one-time evaluations. You will examine veterans and record your findings on standard disability evaluation forms. This role does not involve ongoing patient care, treatment, prescribing, or management. Exams are scheduled during business hours, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
- Board certification
- NPI number
- Current ACLS and BLS
- Active DEA
- Your own office within 25 miles of Uvalde, TX
- CV in month and year format
Responsibilities
- Examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms.
