About The Position

This is an ongoing per diem position for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct one-time disability evaluations for veterans. The role involves examining veterans and accurately documenting findings on standard disability evaluation forms. This is not an ongoing care position, meaning you will not treat, prescribe, or manage patients afterward. The work is performed at an established clinic in Victoria, TX, and you will see veterans on-site. A personal office is not required as you will work out of the clinic.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work.
• Board certification.
• NPI number.
• Current ACLS and BLS.
• Active DEA.
• A home address within 25 miles of Victoria, TX.
• CV in month and year format.

Responsibilities

• Examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms.
• Conduct one-time evaluations, not ongoing care.
• Work out of an established clinic in Victoria, TX.
• See veterans on-site at the clinic.

Benefits

• Pay: $90 to $105 an hour.
• Paid online training (8-10 hours).
