About The Position
As a senior member of the clinical team, the Psych Nurse Practitioner provides direct psychiatric nurse practitioner care and medical treatment to members served. This is a part-time position (16 hours per week) with workdays on Thursday and Friday from 9am to 5:30pm, and it is an onsite role. Telecare is an established mental health company founded in 1965, focused on delivering excellent and effective behavioral health services. The Sausal Creek program is a voluntary program providing a safe, respectful environment where adults (age 18+) in crisis can receive mental health services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
- Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
- Active DEA and Furnishing licenses
