Nurse Practitioner, Psych PMHNP - Riverside Desert CSU
About The Position
As a senior member of the clinical team, the Psych Nurse Practitioner provides direct psychiatric nurse practitioner care and medical treatment to members served. The role is for 24 hours bi-weekly, working Fridays-Sundays every other week, with preferred hours of 9:00 am - 5:30 pm. The position also includes on-call responsibilities for emergencies from 5:30 pm to 8:00 am. Telecare is a mental health company founded in 1965, focused on delivering excellent and effective behavioral health services to engage individuals in recovery. The Desert Riverside Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) serves adults (18+) and adolescents (13-17) in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
- Active DEA and Furnishing licenses
