About The Position

As a senior member of the clinical team, the Psych Nurse Practitioner provides direct psychiatric nurse practitioner care and medical treatment to members served. This role is for a Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP, working 24 hours bi-weekly, typically on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with on-call responsibilities for emergencies from 5:30 pm to 8:00 am. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges, and starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance. Telecare's mission is to deliver excellent and effective behavioral health services that engage individuals in recovering their health, hopes, and dreams. The Desert Riverside Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a 12-chair facility serving up to 8 adults (aged 18 and above) and 4 adolescents (aged 13-17), with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, psychiatric prescribers, nursing staff, and peer specialists.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
  • Active DEA and Furnishing licenses
