About The Position

OnSpot Dermatology is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join their growing Orlando team. This unique opportunity is designed for providers who prefer a later workday (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM) while enjoying a consistent schedule and a collaborative practice environment. The Orlando practice offers a diverse patient population with an excellent mix of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. The provider will work alongside an experienced clinical team with dedicated medical assistant support and state-of-the-art technology. The provider will independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide variety of dermatologic conditions while delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate is comfortable practicing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Current Florida Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • National certification
  • Minimum of one (1) year of dermatology experience as a practicing provider
  • Experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology required
  • Comfortable performing skin cancer screenings, biopsies, cryotherapy, Electrodessication & Curettage (ED&C), and simple excisions and repairs
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Excellent documentation and EMR proficiency
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with supervising physicians and support staff

Nice To Haves

  • Cosmetic procedures, including Botox and fillers, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide variety of dermatologic conditions.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Practice medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
  • Perform skin cancer screenings.
  • Perform biopsies.
  • Perform cryotherapy.
  • Perform Electrodessication & Curettage (ED&C).
  • Perform simple excisions and repairs.
  • Perform cosmetic procedures, including Botox and fillers.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and provide patient education.
  • Document patient encounters and utilize EMR proficiency.
  • Work independently while collaborating with supervising physicians and support staff.
