About The Position

One Medical is seeking a per-diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its Direct Primary Care practice. Direct Primary Care is an alternative payment model based on an affordable monthly membership fee, without fee-for-service insurance payments or third-party billing. It supports smaller patient panels, greater provider autonomy and access, 30-minute appointments, in-house generic medications at wholesale cost, wholesale-priced lab tests, and access to more than 130 specialists through RubiconMD for informational support. The clinician will manage a patient panel with varied needs, providing acute, chronic, and preventive care in the office and testing centers, along with occasional telehealth visits. The role includes weekly Clinical Rounds, daily in-office team huddles, collaboration with virtual clinical teams and NP or PA colleagues, and opportunities to perform in-office procedures. The clinician must be willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in other states. This is a Casual Employee, per-diem hourly clinician role, with an anticipated average of 8–23 patient care hours per week.
