About The Position

One Medical is hiring a per-diem Family Medicine Physician for its Direct Primary Care (DPC) model. DPC provides primary care through an affordable monthly membership fee, without fee-for-service insurance payments or third-party billing. Its small patient panels are intended to support physician autonomy and access, with 30-minute appointments, in-house generic medication dispensing at wholesale cost, lab tests at wholesale prices, and access to more than 130 specialists through RubiconMD for informational support. The physician will manage a patient panel with a broad range of needs, provide acute, chronic, and preventive care, and treat patients in-office or at testing centers, with occasional telehealth visits. The role includes weekly Clinical Rounds, daily in-office team huddles, collaboration with virtual clinical teams and NP or PA colleagues, and opportunities to perform in-office procedures. The clinician should be willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in other states. This is a casual employee, per-diem hourly clinician role with an anticipated average of 8–23 patient care hours per week. The stated base salary is $130 per hour. Total compensation may vary based on candidate-specific factors and may include restricted stock unit grants and/or benefits.
