About The Position

One Medical is hiring a per-diem Family Medicine Physician for its Direct Primary Care (DPC) program. DPC offers primary care through an affordable monthly membership fee, without fee-for-service insurance payments or third-party billing. Small patient panels support physician autonomy and access. Care includes 30-minute appointments, in-house dispensing of generic medications at wholesale cost, wholesale-priced lab tests, and access to more than 130 specialists through RubiconMD for informational support. The physician will manage a panel of patients with varied needs and provide acute, chronic, and preventive care. Care is delivered in the office or testing centers, with occasional telehealth visits. The role includes weekly Clinical Rounds, daily team huddles, collaboration with virtual clinical teams and NP or PA colleagues, and opportunities to use clinical training in in-office procedures. The physician must be willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in other states. This is a casual employee, hourly per-diem role, anticipated to average 8–23 patient-care hours per week. The stated base salary is $130 per hour. Total compensation may depend on candidate-specific factors and may include restricted stock unit grants and/or benefits. Benefits eligibility described in the posting applies to regular team members working 24 or more hours per week and their dependents; the posting does not specify that this per-diem role meets that threshold. The work schedule may change based on business direction.
