Per-Diem, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Direct Primary Care
About The Position
One Medical is hiring a per-diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its Direct Primary Care (DPC) service in Colorado. DPC uses an affordable monthly membership fee rather than fee-for-service insurance payments or third-party billing. Its model includes small patient panels, 30-minute appointments, in-house generic medication dispensing at wholesale cost, wholesale-priced lab tests, and access to more than 130 specialists through RubiconMD for informational support. The clinician will manage a patient panel with a broad range of needs, providing acute, chronic, and preventive care in person and occasional telehealth visits. The role includes in-office procedures as appropriate to the clinician’s training, ongoing learning through weekly Clinical Rounds, and collaboration with in-office teammates, virtual clinical teams, and NP or PA colleagues. The position is a casual, hourly per-diem role anticipated to average 8–23 patient-care hours per week. Clinicians must be willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states. The listed base salary is $75 per hour. Total compensation may vary based on candidate-specific factors and may include restricted stock unit grants and/or benefits. Benefits eligibility described in the posting applies to regular team members working 24 or more hours per week and their dependents; the role’s stated anticipated patient-care hours are 8–23 per week.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of primary care experience.
- Currently licensed or able to obtain licensure in Colorado.
- Completed an accredited FNP program and hold a national certification.

Responsibilities
- Manage a patient panel with a broad array of needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits.
- Treat patients in the office or testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits.
- Participate in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
- Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams.
- Use clinical training and perform in-office procedures as appropriate.
- Collaborate with one or more NP or PA colleagues.
- Be willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states.
