About The Position

Marathon Health is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide advanced primary care in Indianapolis, Indiana, on a schedule of 24 hours per week. Providers practice relationship-based medicine, offering prevention, chronic disease management, health education, routine wellness care, and urgent visits. The role emphasizes smaller patient panels, appointments lasting 20 to 60 minutes, and care focused on health outcomes rather than patient volume or fee-for-service billing. Providers work autonomously and have access to resources such as UpToDate and RubiconMD. Marathon Health describes its approach as prioritizing balance over burnout, with fewer administrative and insurance-related tasks. The organization offers non-production-based compensation, comprehensive benefits, continuing medical education, medical license, DEA and malpractice coverage, regular provider meetings for learning and collaboration, and health benefits beginning on the first day of the month after the start date.
