About The Position

Marathon Health is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide advanced primary care in Muncie, Indiana, for a 24-hour-per-week schedule. Providers practice relationship-based medicine and deliver whole-person care, including prevention, chronic disease management, urgent visits, wellness care, and health education. The care model emphasizes smaller patient panels, appointments ranging from 20 to 60 minutes, and health outcomes rather than patient volume or fee-for-service billing, with fewer administrative and insurance-related tasks. The role offers autonomous practice and access to resources such as UpToDate and RubiconMD at no charge to providers or patients. Providers participate in regular meetings, including journal clubs and grand rounds, for learning and collaboration. The listed annual pay range is $70,000–$90,000 for a 24-hour-per-week schedule; the offer may vary based on location, experience, and skill level. Applications are accepted until a candidate is selected.
