About The Position

Marathon Health is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide care in Muncie, Indiana, for 24 hours per week. The provider practices relationship-based medicine at the top of their license, offering holistic care that includes prevention, chronic disease management, urgent visits, and health education. The role emphasizes a smaller patient panel, appointments lasting 20 to 60 minutes, prevention and wellness, and fewer administrative and insurance-related tasks. Success is measured by health outcomes rather than patient volume or billing; compensation is not production-based. Providers work autonomously and have access to resources such as UpToDate and RubiconMD at no charge to them or their patients. Marathon Health offers comprehensive benefits, including CME, medical license, DEA, and malpractice coverage; regular provider meetings such as journal clubs and grand rounds; and competitive health benefits beginning on the first day of the month after the start date. The position's pay range is $70,000 to $90,000 per year for a 24-hour workweek. Actual offers may vary based on geographic location, experience, and skill level.
