NP/PA Urgent Care Full-Time Opening in San Diego, CA
About The Position
Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Urgent Care Department. This is a full-time salaried position (1.0 FTE, 160 hours/month) with multiple shift options available. The role involves practicing a wide spectrum of emergency-based medicine, including conditions like headaches, abdominal workups, chest pains, laceration repairs, I&D, and dislocations. Each clinic site is equipped with in-house lab, radiology, and pharmacy services. The department operates across six outpatient clinic sites in San Diego County: Chula Vista, Downtown, Santee, Otay Ranch, Sorrento Mesa, and Rancho Bernardo. Clinics are open 365 days a year from 8 am to 8 pm.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working full-time as an NP/PA in emergency medicine or high-acuity urgent care.
- Must be comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities
- Practice a wide spectrum of emergency-based medicine, including headaches, abdominal work ups, chest pains, laceration repairs, I&D, dislocations, eye injuries, etc.
