NP/PA Urgent Care Full-Time Opening in San Diego, CA
About The Position
Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Urgent Care Department. This is a full-time salaried position at 1.0 FTE (160 hours/month) with multiple shift options available. The role involves practicing a wide spectrum of emergency-based medicine, including headaches, abdominal work ups, chest pains, laceration repairs, I&D, dislocations, and eye injuries. Each site is equipped with in-house lab, radiology, and pharmacy services. The department operates at 6 outpatient clinic sites throughout San Diego County: Chula Vista, Downtown, Santee, Otay Ranch, Sorrento Mesa, and Rancho Bernardo, with clinics open 8 am-8 pm, 365 days a year.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working full-time as an NP/PA in emergency medicine or high-acuity urgent care
- Must be comfortable working independently
