About The Position

Cypress Village is seeking a hospitality-focused Nurse Manager for its assisted living/memory care community. The role provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises care and services delivered by Licensed Nurses and Quality of Life Specialists. Duties include administering medications, performing treatments and procedures, obtaining specimens as needed, and completing required documentation. The AL/MC Manager is an LPN responsible for nursing care and services during their shift, including timely and accurate medication and treatment administration, documentation, and responding to emergency calls.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as an LPN in the state.
• At least six months of nursing experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved exemption as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the direct care of residents and nursing personnel during the assigned shift, and provide direct care as needed.
• Give and receive shift reports.
• Make rounds twice per shift to ensure residents receive proper care in a safe and clean environment.
• Keep physicians and families informed of changes in residents’ conditions.
• Assist in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Administer medications and perform treatments and procedures.
• Obtain specimens as needed and complete required documentation.
• Respond to emergency calls as indicated.
• Delegate and supervise care and services provided by Licensed Nurses and Quality of Life Specialists.
