About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Emergency Department at Avita Galion Hospital. The role is responsible for directing patient care activities in the Emergency Department, managing department staff, and overseeing operational and nursing activities. The Nurse Manager consults with staff, the Emergency Department Physician Director, physicians, and the Nurse Executive on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to help ensure patient needs are met.

Requirements

Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse license.
Three or more years of experience in all aspects of emergency nursing.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
PALS certification within six months of hire.
TNCC certification, or acquire it within one year of hire.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
Previous experience working as a Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager in an Emergency Department.

Responsibilities
