About The Position
As a Campus Float Nurse at CHI Health Immanuel, you will provide exceptional patient care across multiple units. The role requires a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to remain calm and positive while caring for patients with various disease processes in situations ranging from minor to critical. The position offers premium differentials in addition to standard night and weekend pay. Eligible new hires may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $6,000 and educational assistance of up to $10,000.
Requirements
- Active RN licensure in Nebraska or Iowa, or a compact RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within five months of hire.
- Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas.
Nice To Haves
- One year of RN experience.
- Specialty certification, such as CCRN, CNOR, or CEN.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients’ conditions and assess their needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
- Administer patients’ medications and provide treatments according to physicians’ orders.
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
