Float Pool Nurse
About The Position
As an ICU Float Pool RN, you will help clinical teams maintain high-quality patient care across intensive care units, supporting positive outcomes and a healing environment for vulnerable patients. You will assess, plan, and provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in a flexible, fast-paced environment. The role requires adapting to different ICU settings, monitoring complex physiological changes, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing timely interventions to stabilize patients. Float RNs are expected to work in ICU, ED, and Med/Surg/Tele units at Woodland Memorial Hospital and other Dignity Health hospitals within the Sacramento area.
Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate degree in Nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of California.
- Minimum of two years of ICU nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Willingness to work in ICU, ED, and Med/Surg/Tele units at Woodland Memorial Hospital and other Dignity Health hospitals within the Sacramento area.
