About The Position
As a Campus Float Nurse at CHI Health, you will provide exceptional patient care across multiple units. You will build trust through a positive attitude and reliability, and use your clinical knowledge to care for patients with various disease processes and needs, from minor to critical situations, while remaining calm and positive. The role offers premium differentials in addition to standard night and weekend pay. Eligible new hires may receive a $6,000 sign-on bonus and up to $10,000 in educational assistance.
Requirements
- Active RN licensure in Nebraska or Iowa, or a compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within five months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- One year of RN experience preferred.
- Specialty certification, such as CCRN, CNOR, or CEN.
- Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients’ conditions and assess their needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
- Administer patients’ medications and provide treatments according to physicians’ orders.
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
