About The Position
As a Campus Float Nurse at CHI Health Immanuel, you will provide exceptional patient care across multiple units. The role requires caring for patients with various disease processes and needs, ranging from minor to critical situations, while remaining calm, positive, reliable, and supportive. You will build trust with patients and families through a positive attitude and compassionate care. The position offers premium differentials in addition to standard night and weekend pay. Eligible new hires may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $6,000 and educational assistance of up to $10,000.
Requirements
- Active RN licensure in Nebraska or Iowa, or a compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 5 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- One year of RN experience.
- Specialty certification, such as CCRN, CNOR, or CEN.
- Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients’ conditions and assess their needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
- Administer patients’ medications and provide treatments according to physicians’ orders.
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
- Provide patient care across multiple units and a range of disease processes and acuity levels.
