About The Position

Orchard Medical Consulting, an IMA Group Company, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Case Manager (RN) to join their team. This is a field-based position supporting injured workers throughout Flagstaff and the surrounding areas. The role involves coordinating medical care, advocating for injured workers, attending medical appointments, collaborating with providers, and independently managing a caseload. It offers a transition away from bedside nursing while utilizing clinical expertise.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license
Ability and willingness to travel throughout Flagstaff and surrounding areas
Reliable transportation
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible field schedule

Nice To Haves

Workers’ Compensation Case Management experience
Field Case Management experience
CCM certification
Background in Orthopedics, Trauma, ER, ICU, Rehabilitation, Neurology, Occupational Health, or similar specialties

Responsibilities

Attend medical appointments with injured workers throughout the Flagstaff area
Coordinate care with physicians, healthcare providers, employers, adjusters, and other stakeholders
Monitor treatment plans, medical progress, and return-to-work goals
Identify barriers to recovery and help facilitate timely solutions
Provide objective clinical assessments and case management documentation
Promote appropriate, medically supported treatment and positive claim outcomes
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with medical providers and clients
Independently manage your caseload and schedule while meeting required deadlines
