About The Position

We are seeking a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a Locum Tenens position in Duluth, MN. This is a supplemental coverage role for an outpatient facility, with an ongoing coverage period starting June 1, 2026. The role is clinical only and involves a 7-day/week shift schedule, with options for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts Monday-Friday, and 12 or 16-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. A 30-minute unpaid lunch break is included. The CRNA will care for patients from neonate to adult, handling 1-2 longer cases or 3-4 shorter cases per day. The case mix includes Cardiac, Complete Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head Spine, Neuro, OB, Pediatric, Regional, and Thoracic cases. Procedures include General Anesthesia, Spinal Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia Surgery, Obstetrical & Neurosurgical cases, Open Heart Anesthesia, Ventilation management, Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, and Arterial Line placement. The facility is a Level I Trauma center with a Level II PEDS designation and 26 operating rooms. Epic EMR is utilized, and temporary privileges are available.

Requirements

• Active MN License or ability to obtain
• NBCRNA Certified
• CPR, BCLS/ACLS

Responsibilities

• Administer General Anesthesia
• Administer Spinal Anesthesia
• Perform Regional Anesthesia Surgery
• Manage Obstetrical & Neurosurgical cases
• Provide Open Heart Anesthesia
• Manage ventilation
• Evaluate and manage acute volume/BP issues
• Perform Arterial Line placement
