CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist)
About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in General anesthesia. The role is based in an inpatient setting in Kirksville, MO, with a coverage period from ASAP and ongoing. The CRNA will provide clinical services and be on backup call. The shift schedule is 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute response time for second call/backup. The facility uses paper charting for EMR. The CRNA will work under medical direction, and physicians will be first call for OR and OB cases. CRNAs at this facility do not perform peripheral blocks and rarely perform epidurals. Temporary privileges are available.
Requirements
- Licensed in MO
- ACLS certification
- BNDD certification
- DEA
- CSR

Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services under medical direction.
- Serve as backup call for the physician for OR and OB cases.
- Manage ventilation and acute volume/BP issues.
- Perform central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placements.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety during surgical procedures.
