About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a Locum Tenens position in Elko, NV. This role involves providing general anesthesia for surgical cases in the operating room, managing anesthesia care during on-call hours, and covering weekend calls. The CRNA will also assist in running three operating rooms simultaneously and perform various anesthesia techniques. The position is for coverage due to extra volume and is an ongoing need starting August 24, 2026.

Requirements

Licensed in NV or Universal License (IMLC)
BLS certification
ACLS certification
PALS certification
Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
General Anesthesia
Spinal Anesthesia
Epidural Anesthesia
Regional Anesthesia Surgery
Obstetrical Cases
Pain management techniques (Post-op epidural, Post-op extremity blocks)
Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks
Ventilation management
Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
Central Line placement
Arterial Line placement

Responsibilities

Provide general anesthesia for surgical cases in the operating room.
Manage anesthesia care during on-call hours (3pm – 7am weekdays).
Cover weekend call from Friday 3pm to Monday 7am.
Assist in running three operating rooms simultaneously.
Perform various anesthesia techniques including spinal, epidural, regional, and general anesthesia.
