NP/PA Outpatient General Surgery Half-Time Job Share (0.5FTE) Opening in San Diego, CA
About The Position
Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our General Surgery Division for a half-time job share position. This 0.5 FTE role will be 100% outpatient at the SRS La Mesa clinic, supporting patients with common general surgery diagnoses such as hernias, gallbladder disease, soft tissue masses, and bariatric surgery conditions. The position involves evaluating and managing patients, providing comprehensive pre- and post-operative care, surgical follow-up, and patient education. The NP/PA will collaborate closely with board-certified general surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of full-time NP/PA experience in a general surgery setting required
- Active, unrestricted California NP or PA license required
- Current board certification in applicable specialty required
- Must be comfortable working independently

- Procedural experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
