NP/PA Orthopedic Surgery (Fracture Clinic - Outpatient) Opening in San Diego, CA
About The Position
Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Orthopedic Surgery Division, specifically to support the SRS fracture clinic. This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position located at the SRS San Diego Main clinic. The role involves a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule with a one-hour lunch break. This is a 100% outpatient position with no after-hours, call, or inpatient work required. The NP/PA will function within a collaborative practice model, working closely with a supervising orthopedic physician to evaluate and manage fracture patients. The position offers an opportunity to work in a team-based setting, participating in joint patient visits and shared decision-making to develop comprehensive treatment plans for adult patients (ages 18 and older) presenting with acute and follow-up fracture care needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working full-time as an NP/PA in an orthopedic surgery setting or similar.
Responsibilities
