About The Position

Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking a board-certified, microsurgical fellowship–trained Plastic Surgeon with Subspecialty Certification in Surgery of the Hand to join their growing Plastic Surgery program. This physician will play a key role in advancing their microsurgical breast reconstruction and limb salvage programs, working closely with general surgeons and breast surgical oncology. The practice focuses primarily on complex reconstructive care, with cosmetic surgery representing a small component. The group emphasizes multidisciplinary care, clinical research participation, and evidence-based pathways, with access to comprehensive resources like dedicated nurse navigators and survivorship programs. Sharp Health is a Commission on Cancer (CoC)-accredited program.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Plastic Surgery (ABPS)
• Microsurgical fellowship training required
• Subspecialty Certification in Surgery of the Hand

Nice To Haves

• Preferred minimum of 5 years of post-training experience
• Demonstrated leadership or interest in leading microsurgical breast reconstruction and limb salvage programs

Responsibilities

• Advance microsurgical breast reconstruction programs

• Handle inpatient consults with blocked OR time for operative cases
