This is a NON-PAID philanthropic board member position for a Board Financial Executive. This role is purely philanthropic and is intended for an executive who wishes to give back, particularly if they have personal experience with the cancer journey of a friend or loved one. As a "working board," members are expected to be involved in operations, donating approximately 5 hours per week. A donation requirement exists because funders, including grant foundations, mandate that the board be donors before providing grants. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in wealth planning, asset management, hedge funds, and investments, with active involvement in wealth management and growth. This individual should be motivated by the social impact of serving a board that aims to change the lives of families impacted by cancer. The role requires a strong understanding of how to positively influence individuals with means who wish to support a worthy organization. Additionally, the candidate should be able to connect with others in their field to share the mission and vision of supporting families with children battling cancer.
