About The Position

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, the Noninvasive Technician collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide excellent patient care. The role performs day-to-day functions of the EKG department, including electrocardiograms, treadmill stress tests, Holter monitor hook-up and scanning, editing, charging, and charting.

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a 595-bed acute care teaching and referral hospital and the flagship hospital of Methodist Health System. It has an adult Level I Trauma Center and a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in southern Dallas, as well as a renovated breast center. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Successfully complete a Basic Dysrhythmia class.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Cardio Life Support certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in the EKG department, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiograms.
