About The Position

The Noninvasive Technician performs day-to-day functions of the EKG department, including electrocardiograms, treadmill stress tests, and Holter monitor hook-up, scanning, editing, charging, and charting. The role works in a highly technical, fast-paced environment and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Successfully complete a Basic Dysrhythmia class.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Cardio Life Support certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in the EKG department, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiograms.
• Perform treadmill stress tests.
• Hook up and scan Holter monitors.
• Edit, charge, and chart Holter monitor-related work.
