An established, high-volume private cardiology and peripheral vascular practice in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Non-Invasive or Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiologist to join its growing physician team. The incoming physician will step into an established patient population with a strong referral network, comprehensive in-office diagnostic capabilities, and experienced clinical support. The role includes office-based cardiology consultations, hospital consultation and rounding, interpretation of cardiovascular diagnostic studies, and general cardiology responsibilities. The practice has a significant peripheral vascular patient population and an established endovascular program, so the physician should be comfortable recognizing and managing both cardiac and peripheral vascular disease. Hospitalists and primary care physicians manage admissions, allowing cardiologists to function primarily as consultants. After-hours responsibilities are generally limited to telephone coverage, and satellite clinic responsibilities are limited. The practice offers nuclear cardiology (including SPECT and cardiac PET), advanced cardiac CT, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, pacemaker and device checks, remote ECG monitoring, established venous services, peripheral vascular diagnostics, and office-based procedural capabilities. Outpatient procedural capabilities are expanding, and a new ambulatory surgical facility is under development. Compensation includes a guaranteed annual base salary of $575,000–$625,000 and a productivity bonus of up to $75,000 annually. Benefits include paid relocation, health insurance, a CME allowance, paid time off, professional dues, medical malpractice coverage with tail contribution, a cell phone, and a laptop.
