About The Position

A dynamic healthcare organization is seeking a full-time, employed Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide cardiology services across the Finger Lakes region of New York. This direct-hire position includes coverage in Geneva, Penn Yan, Seneca Falls, and Newark, and an opportunity to help establish and expand a new cardiology practice in Newark, scheduled to launch in early 2027. The Cardiologist will provide inpatient and outpatient care in a collaborative setting with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other clinical personnel. The role combines clinical responsibilities with involvement in developing and expanding services at the new Newark facility.

Requirements

Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
Demonstrated proficiency and experience in non-invasive cardiology techniques.
Certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Strong clinical acumen and commitment to high standards of patient care.
Patient-centered care philosophy.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Interest in contributing to the growth and establishment of a developing practice.

Responsibilities

Provide hospital-based cardiology consultations, typically 3–5 consults daily.
Perform echocardiography procedures.
Provide nuclear cardiology diagnostics.
Perform transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
Perform cardioversion procedures.
Evaluate and manage cardiovascular pathologies in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other clinical personnel to support cohesive patient care.
Help develop and expand cardiology services at the new Newark facility.
