Non-Invasive Cardiologist
About The Position
Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York, is seeking a non-invasive cardiologist to join its full-time faculty in the Department of Cardiology. The department is part of the Westchester Heart and Vascular Institute, which provides a broad range of cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular surgery services to patients of all ages. Services include cardiac and vascular diagnostics, heart failure care, catheter-based cardiac interventions, surgical treatment, vascular surgery, electrophysiology, and peripheral vascular interventions. An academic appointment at New York Medical College School of Medicine is available, commensurate with the candidate’s academic background and participation in education and research. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Westchester Medical Center is the Hudson Valley region’s advanced medical care and referral hospital, serving more than 3.5 million people. It is home to a comprehensive cardiovascular program and provides care through its main hospital, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, acute inpatient rehabilitation service, and Behavioral Health Center.
Requirements
- Active New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Completion of an accredited cardiology fellowship.
- Board certified or board eligible.
- Strong academic interests.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
