Non-Invasive Cardiologist - Elkton, MD
About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Clinical Cardiologist to join its expanding cardiology care team at Union Hospital in Elkton, Maryland. The physician will provide full-scope cardiology care in an established practice, with support from ChristianaCare’s Center for Heart and Vascular Health, which includes more than 20 cardiologists and 16 advanced practice clinicians. Care is provided in inpatient and ambulatory settings. The Elkton practice offers diagnostic services and equipment including echocardiography, Holter monitoring, electrocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, stress testing, and nuclear stress testing. The physician will collaborate with other cardiologists, including clinicians in community-based practices. The cardiovascular program offers reasonable call, teaching and research opportunities, and patient diversity. ChristianaCare is a not-for-profit teaching health system and a large regional healthcare provider. Requirements
- Board eligible or board certified in cardiology.
- Must be able to obtain licensure in Maryland and Delaware and meet credentialing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope cardiology care in inpatient and ambulatory settings.
- Collaborate with other members of the Cardiology section, including clinicians in community-based practices.
