About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking a BC/BE Non-Invasive Clinical Cardiologist to join our Center for Heart & Vascular Health in Newark, Delaware. This role involves providing high-level care and treatments for cardiovascular diseases in both inpatient and ambulatory settings. Cardiologists will participate in a full range of imaging studies, collaborate with primary care partners on population health initiatives, and have opportunities to teach Cardiology Fellows and house staff, as well as engage in clinical research. The Center for Heart and Vascular Health at Christiana Hospital is a high-volume center, performing numerous cardiac procedures annually and offering advanced heart failure services. ChristianaCare is affiliated with the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and partners with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for cardiac transplantation services.
Requirements
- BE/BC in cardiology
- Ability to be licensed in the State of Delaware
- Meet credentialing requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level care and treatments for cardiovascular diseases in inpatient and ambulatory settings.
- Participate in the full range of imaging studies.
- Collaborate with primary care partners in the development of population health-based initiatives.
- Participate in teaching of Cardiology Fellows and house staff.
- Engage in clinical research.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the section of Cardiology.
